Acceptable Use Policy

This policy forms part of the Terms of Service between you and Sonautic Inc. (“Sonautic”, “we”, “us”), the company that operates Nouvel. Words defined in the Terms have the same meaning here, and where this policy and the Terms cover the same ground, they are read together rather than one replacing the other.

It applies to everyone who uses the Service, including anyone you invite to your account, and to everything you do through it: searching, saving, downloading, analysing, exporting, and anything you publish afterwards using what you found.

Nouvel surfaces publicly available short-form videos so you can study what is working in your market and brief your own team or creators. That is research. It is not a content library, a republishing tool, or a licence to anything it shows you.

Reels found through the Service belong to the people who made them. Finding a reel here gives you no right to it, and you remain responsible for anything you go on to publish.

Do not use the Service, its stored reels, or its outputs to produce or distribute material that:

• infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, moral, or contractual rights;
• reuploads a third-party reel, in whole or in substantial part, as if it were yours;
• impersonates a creator, brand, or person, or falsely implies endorsement, affiliation, or partnership;
• strips, hides, or falsifies watermarks, credits, captions, or rights information;
• harasses, defames, sexualises a minor, or promotes hate, violence, self-harm, or exploitation;
• deceives people about a product, a price, a health or financial outcome, or who is speaking; or
• breaks the rules of the platform you publish it on, including its music, disclosure, and advertising policies.

Studying a format is not the same as copying a video. Hooks, structures, pacing, and ideas are yours to learn from. The specific footage, audio, face, and voice in someone else’s reel are not.

Do not:

• share an account, resell access, or give a third party the benefit of your plan without our written permission;
• create further accounts to reset a free allowance, evade a limit, or return after suspension;
• scrape, crawl, mirror, or bulk-export the Service, its results, or its analyses;
• use bots, scripts, or automated access unless we have expressly allowed it in writing;
• probe, disrupt, overload, or test the security of the Service or anything connected to it;
• reverse engineer or attempt to derive our ranking, scoring, or analysis methods; or
• interfere with another user’s access, data, or account.

Transcripts, scores, playbooks, and other outputs are generated automatically and can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Check anything you intend to rely on. Do not present outputs as legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice, and do not present them as a guarantee of reach, engagement, or revenue.

Do not use the Service, its outputs, or any data taken from it to train a model, build a dataset, or develop a product that competes with Nouvel.

To report abuse of the Service, or content you believe infringes your rights, email contact@nouvel.ai. Rights holders should follow the copyright and takedown process in the Terms, which tells you what to include so we can act quickly.

We may investigate suspected misuse and, depending on what we find, warn you, remove a result, disable a stored copy, restrict a feature, throttle or suspend your account, or terminate it. Serious cases, and repeat infringement, can be actioned without notice.

We may preserve or disclose information where reasonably necessary to protect users, rights holders, Sonautic, or third parties, or to comply with law. Termination for breach of this policy does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid, and does not limit any other remedy available to us.

We may update this policy as the Service changes or as new kinds of misuse appear. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when the current version took effect, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
